Why is e-scrap a concern?

New advances in technology are happening rapidly and consumers are constantly upgrading to new equipment and discarding old products. Electronics contain a variety of materials, some of which are hazardous to the environment if leached into the soil and water.


What type of e-scrap is accepted?

Is there a fee for e-scrap disposal?

    The Hazardous Waste Collection Center (HWCC) offers fee-based disposal programs. Businesses pay a $3.50 fee for a monitor up to 19”, $4.50 for monitors over 19” and up to $12.50 for televisions. There is no charge for all other types of e-scrap. Please contact us prior to drop off to discuss program availability for your business and to determine the fee for waste disposal.
